Namashivaya All,
As per the email from the Director, ICTS dated 27 July 2026, internet facility will be provided only to laptops whose MAC addresses are registered with CMS.
We have observed that only very few students have registered their MAC IDs in the CMS portal. Students who have not yet registered their laptop’s MAC ID are requested to do so at the earliest. Otherwise, internet access over Wi‑Fi for non‑registered laptops will be discontinued from 16 August 2026 onwards.

Hoping for the same from your end at the earliest.
Team ICTS

Thanks.

For Windows

Some laptops have only a display device manager and a random MAC option.

For Finding the WiFi MAC—

Previously, you tried to connect your mobile hotspot to your laptop. After that, go to Start—Run—cmd—ipconfig /all. If you have a laptop, please find your WiFi MAC address among all the MAC addresses.

For Mac

Note each WiFi SSID to modify it, but only do not change your media access control (MAC).

Can you connect your mobile hotspot? After selecting and copy-pasting, I think it is better to find out the WiFi MAC.

Start-search to cmd-open  command ipconfig /all

If you registered the wrong MAC addresses, you will not be able to connect to campus Wi-Fi once. Please verify your laptop's MAC address is right or wrong.

Once the MAC address is changed, the CMS will update it quickly, but you will try to connect tomorrow; updating time takes a minimum of 24 hours.
