Keyboard Not Working WhenTyping Wifi Password & Cortana| Can't Type Wifi Password In Windows 10

Start-Run--ctfmon.exe

Start-Run-regedit

                                                                           

[Tip] Can't type in search bar / wifi password / explorer search / ctfmon.exe and etc. problem FIX.

I've faced this problem too, so I searched a little for solutions. Last thing I found as a solution is that running ctfmon.exe in c:/windows/system32/ folder (either manually by navigating to file or clicking Win+R and typing C:/Windows/System32/ctfmon.exe).

But it happens again if you restart computer. So I found an another way that it add ctfmon.exe to startup and it runs everytime you restart your computer. This is how to do it:

1. Click Win+R

2. Write regedit and press Enter.

3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

4. Right Click in folder and go to New -> String

5. You can name it ctfmon. The double click on it and set value to: C:/Windows/System32/ctfmon.exe

Thats all. Close registry and restart. Hope it helped).

To delete a profile, enter netsh wlan delete profile name= "xxxxxx" (where xxxxxx is the WiFi profile you want to delete)

Don't use Avast antivirus.Your laptop is connecting to the campus Wi-Fi, but it is not receiving any internet.

Wi-Fi username should exclusively utilize lowercase letters. Using uppercase may occasionally disconnect you from the university Wi-Fi.
