For students who are currently residing in the hostel, if you have any problems with the modem, kindly notify your hostel warden, provide your personal information, and return the room key. Kindly submit a formal request to the CMS HELPDESK PORTAL, addressed to the warden.
Resetting the password is not feasible as your account has not been included. Exclusively perform tasks pertaining to the system administration team. This guide will provide instructions on how to establish a connection with the Wi-Fi network in a room.
How to log in to CMS Office 365 using the correct method? Only by logging in with your roll number and password can you change the wifi password. No other actions will have an effect.

I believe that the power outage will trigger an automated restart of your room's wifi if you connect the modem to an uninterruptible power supply, ensuring uninterrupted internet service.

The problem of wifi not working at New Bhrigu Bhavanam hostel has been communicated several times through mail and physical request.
All we hear is that there is nothing they can do and students are asked to buy their own UPS devices and asked to go to labs to write exams.
I dont know what we call this.
There are power outages and the wifi devices take almost 5_10 mins to actually provide internet.
Some times the devices are on but no internet is available.
This is a serious issue sir .We are currently in our 7th semester and a lot of online calls meets and exams are going on.
Internet is a basic facility most important for people studying modern technology.

I am Venu Pulagam, a final-year student from the Department of Artificial Intelligence, residing in the newly constructed Brigu Bhavanam hostel. I am writing to express my deep concern over the recurring issues with power cuts and unstable Wi-Fi connectivity in our hostel, particularly during critical moments such as placement interviews.
Recently, I was shortlisted for the third round of interviews with the organization iamneo, scheduled for August 12, 2024. Despite anticipating possible interruptions due to the frequent power outages, I proceeded with the interview, only to have my worst fears realized. The power outage at 5:00 PM disrupted my Wi-Fi connection, leaving me disconnected and struggling to rejoin the interview. Attempts to switch to mobile hotspot were futile due to the inadequate network coverage, which was insufficient to sustain a stable video call.
As a result, the interview was severely compromised, and I was unable to communicate effectively with the interviewer. This unfortunate incident has not only impacted my chances in this recruitment process but also raises concerns about the reliability of basic facilities in our institution.
This is not an isolated incident. Many of us have faced similar issues during exams and other critical activities. As final-year students actively participating in placement activities, it is crucial that we are provided with a reliable power supply and stable internet connectivity.
I kindly request that immediate measures be taken to ensure a continuous and stable power supply and Wi-Fi connectivity, especially during this crucial period. Such basic amenities are essential for us to perform to the best of our abilities during placements.

I'm Rakhil M L, and I’m a final-year CSE(AI) student residing in the newly built Bhrigu Bhavanam hostel - Room B-223. I’m writing this to share our concerns about the ongoing issues with power outages and unstable Wi-Fi in our hostel, especially as they’ve begun to interfere with critical moments in our academic placement process examinations.
The Wi-Fi connection dropped frequently between the examination, and despite my best efforts to switch to a mobile hotspot, the weak network signal made it impossible to maintain a stable network to continue the exam.
This disruption severely impacted our exam, and we were logged out and couldn't be able to continue. Many of my peers have faced similar challenges during exams and other important activities.
As final-year students, we’re at a crucial stage where reliable power and internet access are more than just conveniences—they’re essential tools for us to complete the placement evaluation . I sincerely hope that steps can be taken to address these issues as soon as possible. Ensuring that we have stable Wi-Fi by providing Wi-Fi UPS or stable electricity, especially during this placement season, would make a huge difference in helping us perform at our best.
